The floating menu’s **Privacy screen** button toggles the computer’s local cover directly, labels the host-confirmed on/off state without changing colors, and shows inline feedback only for errors or unavailable status. Enabling privacy also blocks local keyboard/mouse input, matching the desktop controller.
